“The arc of history is long, but it bends towards justice.” Thanks for giving so many of us the inspiration to be more proactive for the cause- onwards and upwards!!! I’ve just sent a long email to my MP (Labour) making my thoughts and feelings crystal clear.

Thank you for this update. Yes, frustrating, but looks like some progress is happening even if a lot slower than we'd all like. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Government are very worried about the increase in their benefits bill since 2020

But they don't realise this is caused by the COVID-19 pandemic triggering Long-COVID and ME/CFS in 100,000s of people who now CANNOT work.

The benefits cuts the Government has proposed will not *magically* make these people fit to work. It will simply force them further into poverty.

They will have less money to spend which will weaken the economy.

Instead, Government should make Long-COVID and ME/CFS the first priority for medical research funding.

ME/CFS research has been underfunded for decades and now the crisis has arrived.

Only priority research funding will deliver the treatments needed to reduce the benefits bill.

Give us treatments so we can get back to work.
