Non-committal sadly, as you might have expected. I’m glad there is a group in Cambridge - I wasn’t aware. If we’re organised in each constituency at least we can create a voting bloc that may have some influence on our MPs.
Done, although I remember writing to my MP last September (2024) and only heard back from them in July THIS year (2025), so I don't hold out much hope this time...
It was re: supporting Action for ME’s pledges on ME and working with the charity to improve the experience of constituents living with and affected by the condition.
Messages to their MPs have gone in from 18 members of Richmond, Kingston & West London ME Group that we know of so far, across 11 different constituencies.
The notice for this debate was very short, does anyone know if there was any reason for that? And does anyone know whether it will be televised on BBC Parliament?
That’s brilliant, thank you! Unfortunately the debate was only scheduled on Wednesday from a weekly ballot - often Parliament runs on short notice. We appreciate this can make it tricky with energy limits and we’re very grateful to everyone who has managed to contact their MP.

Yup that’s his standard response. The MS support group has the same experience of him.
